Trail Running at Jester Park
The Iowa Trail Run Series: Jester Park takes place in Granger, Iowa, featuring a course that runs along the shore of Saylorville Lake. Participants navigate a variety of trail surfaces, including gravel, dirt, and grass. The event provides a natural setting where the route passes near the local buffalo enclosure.
Participants can choose from several event formats:
- 5K (3.1 mile loop)
- 10K
- Enduro Individual (10 hour timed event)
- Enduro Team (Up to 5 people, 10 hour timed event)
The Enduro format involves completing as many laps of the 3.1 mile loop as possible within a 10 hour time limit. The event provides course support and clear trail markings for all distances. Basic timing is provided, and each participant receives a custom race bib and a rotating series item such as socks, a stocking cap, a coffee mug, or an aluminum water bottle.
The race site includes post-race food and games for participants. While a commemorative tri-blend shirt is available as an optional addition during registration, a series-specific gift is included for those registered for the entire Iowa Trail Run Series.
