Inwood Firecracker 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The Inwood Firecracker event takes place on July 4, 2026 at 103 S. Main St, Inwood, Iowa. It includes two running events that use a route through and around Inwood and begin in front of the Inwood Community Center.

The 5K awards medals to the top three female and top three male finishers. The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk awards medals to the top three youth runners. Both events welcome runners and walkers of various ages and mention parents with strollers and youth participation.
Registration is available online or onsite on race day. Registration opens on April 3, 2026 and closes on July 4, 2026. Published registration fees are $30.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Participants who register by June 22 are guaranteed a shirt size.
