Invest In Excellence 5K
The Nevada R-5 Foundation hosts the Invest In Excellence 5K on September 12, 2026 in Nevada, Missouri at 800 W Hickory, 64772. The event aims to support teacher appreciation and student success, and a portion of proceeds will go to the Nevada R-5 Cross Country team for their support and participation.
The race distance is 5K on an easy course with gradual inclines and declines. Awards will be given to the overall top female and male runner in each age category, and each runner will receive a t-shirt. Age categories are 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.
Registration opens August 7, 2026 and closes September 11, 2026. Fee structure is $10 for ages 1-21 and for Nevada R-5 employees, and $25 for ages 22 and up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
