Inverclyde Leisure Aquathlon : Gourock Outdoor Pool, 23 August 2026
The event is an aquathlon festival held on Sunday 23 August 2026 and organised by Inverclyde Leisure at Gourock Outdoor Pool and Fitness Gym, Albert Road, Gourock PA19 1NQ. It includes team, adult and junior aquathlon events.
Available places and entry deadline are stated: 24 team entries (teams of 2), 150 adult entries, and 30 junior entries. The closing date for entries is Sunday 9 August 2026.
Distances:
- Team and Adult: Half mile swim (24 lengths) and 5 km run.
- Junior (10 to 17 years): Quarter mile swim (12 lengths) and 3 km run.
Entry fees are published for each category: team entry £54 per team of 2; adult non‑member £48; adult Inverclyde Leisure member £40; junior £22. The membership discount requires an active One Life membership at registration and on the day of the event.
Heat and lane positions will be emailed to participants by Friday 21 August 2026. There is a 45 minute swim time cap; swimmers still in the pool at 45 minutes will be asked to stop swimming and move on to the next phase to allow the next heat to start.
