Into the Woods 6 Miler
The Into the Woods 6 Miler is a trail running event held at Asbury Woods in Erie, Pennsylvania. This race serves as the final installment of the Into the Woods Trail Run Series. The event takes place on a property spanning 234 acres, featuring a variety of terrain including packed dirt trails, wooden boardwalks, and single-track loops.
The course is designed to guide participants through the natural landscape of the area, winding through woods, wetlands, and open fields. At this specific distance, runners navigate nearly every trail on the property to complete the full distance. The event is held during the autumn season, allowing participants to see the fall colors of the surrounding environment as they progress through the course.
The race starts and finishes at the Nature Center. Participants have the option to enter the individual 6-mile race or participate in the full series, which includes other distances throughout the year.
