Into the Woods Trail Run Series : Asbury Woods

Into the Woods Trail Run Series stages multiple trail events across Asbury Woods, set on more than 200 acres of woods, wetlands and fields. Courses use a mix of packed dirt, boardwalk and single track, with looped trail sections that vary by race.

Distances included:

4 mile trail run : February 22, 2026; non-timed; $35
5 mile trail race : June 6, 2026; competitive race; $35
6 mile trail race : October 10, 2026; $35

All races list the Nature Center as the event location. The five mile event includes a youth fun run and free childcare; the four mile winter event is described as non-timed and includes post-race chili from Cali's West Catering and beverages provided by Erie Beer. A multi-race registration option is offered that applies a $15 savings when registering for all three races and includes a special gift.

The series highlights trail surfaces and seasonal variety rather than road running. Race formats and services vary by date; fees differ for the youth run and single race entries.
