The Instant Classic takes place Saturday, September 5, 2026, at North Lakes Park, 2001 W. Windsor Rd., Denton, TX 76201. The event offers multiple distance options:
- 15K
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile (new, untimed)
- Kid's Dash (100–200 m, free)
- Virtual Option
The 10K is run as two laps of the 5K course and the 15K is three laps of the 5K course.
Registration, awards and other information
Event prices listed are: 15K $55, 10K $48, 5K $35, 1 Mile $18, Virtual $40, Kid's Dash $0. Several in-person events show a price increase after March 31, 2026. Virtual and Kid's Dash registration close on September 5, 2026. Register by 08/15 to guarantee t-shirt size.
Registered participants receive an event-themed participation t-shirt and a finisher medal cube for the 5K, 10K, 15K, and 1 Mile. Age group awards are available for the 5K, 10K, and 15K only. Age groups are awarded four deep for male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall awards include overall male/female, male/female masters (40+), and male/female grand masters (60+). Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. Volunteers receive a code for a free race entry as a thank you. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
