The Instant Classic takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at North Lakes Park, 2001 W. Windsor Rd., Denton, TX 76201. The event offers multiple race options, including a free Kid's Dash and a virtual option. The main in-person distances are:

Race features and awards
Registration includes an event-themed participation t-shirt (participants are advised to register by August 15 to guarantee shirt size) and a finisher medal cube for the 5K, 10K, 15K, and 1 Mile. The Kid's Dash is a short 100–200 meter sprint; dashers are free to enter and may purchase a t-shirt or finisher medal as add-ons. The 1 Mile is an untimed event with no age group awards but receives a finisher medal and shirt. The 5K, 10K, and 15K are eligible for age group awards; age groups are split male/female and awarded four deep across standard age brackets from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and masters category medals are listed. Awards will be distributed at the event and will not be shipped. The 10K is noted as two laps of the 5K course and the 15K as three laps.
