About the race
Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival is a multi-day trail running event in Innsbruck, Austria, taking place 05.05.–08.05.2027. The festival is organised by Laufwerkstatt and combines a race programme with festival elements such as an expo, a cheering bus, side events and a race magazine. Volunteers support race operations and event services throughout the week. The programme includes a wide range of races that vary in distance and elevation, from short uphill formats to long ultratrails.
The Trail Hunt is staged as an elite pursuit-format race with a total prize purse of 30,000 EUR. The Young Talents Race targets U23 athletes and runs on mountain trails around Innsbruck. The Business Trail is contested by three-person teams and ranked in women, men and mixed categories. Registration for the 2027 edition opens on 09.09.2026.
