Inner City 5K in Dublin
The Inner City Running Club presents the 5K event on Sunday 2 August 2026. This is the sixth annual edition and forms part of a weekend programme that includes a dedicated kids race held the Saturday before.
The course is a lapped inner city route designed to keep runners within a controlled area. Previous events attracted nearly 2,000 participants. Entry packages include an event shirt and a finisher medal, and refreshments will be available onsite. Live entertainment is planned, including musicians, a DJ and other acts.
Event logistics include a bag drop, a collection point or postage option for race numbers with an additional postage fee of 7 euro, and an expo collection option (locations to be confirmed). Portable toilets will be located at the start and finish area and water is provided at the end of the course. First aid cover is provided along the race course.
The event location is Henrietta House, Henrietta Place, Dublin 1. Nearby parking options noted for attendees include Jervis, Ilac and Cineworld Parnell Centre.
