About the race
Inflatable Insanity at Floors Castle is a weekend event on 29 and 30 August 2026 held at Floors Castle, Kelso, Scottish Borders (postal code TD5 7RL). The event uses a large inflatable obstacle course laid out across the castle grounds and offers separate route options.
Distances offered:
- 2.5 km - 1 lap, 15 giant inflatable obstacles
- 5 km - 2 laps, 30 giant inflatable obstacles
The event is open to everyone aged 5 years and over. Children aged 5–15 must be accompanied by participating adults according to set supervision ratios: age 5 requires one adult per child; age 6 one adult per two children; age 7 one adult per three children; ages 8–9 one adult per four children; ages 10–15 one adult per five children. Teams can be formed from two people upwards and there is a 20% team discount for groups of 10 or more.
Standard entry prices listed for weekend entries include Adult 2.5 km £30 and Under 15 2.5 km £25, and Adult 5 km £40 and Under 15 5 km £35. Tickets are described as non-refundable; exchanges for a credit are possible for a £3 fee until 23/08/2026 and credits remain valid for 12 months. Booking protection is available to enable refunds in certain circumstances.
