About the race
The Indonesia Bali Marathon is scheduled in Sanur Beach, Bali as part of the Indian Ocean Challenge, a series of nine marathons across South and East Asia held between 15 February and 8 March 2027. The event lists the host hotel as Holiday Inn Bali Sanur by IHG and the listed course location as Sanur Beach. Registration for the Bali race is shown as closed and the listed fee was $60. Early bird entries were capped at 20 runners per race and each race is limited to 20 participants on a first come, first serve basis.
The organizer states there are no refunds. Race logistics described include distribution of bib numbers and a mandatory race briefing at the host hotel the evening before the event; missing the briefing may result in denial of entry. All finishers receive a medal and their official finish time; runners registered for four or more marathons receive an extra challenge medal. Courses are measured to ensure the marathon distance of 42.2 kilometers and will be evaluated for safety.
A nine hour cut-off time after the start is stated. Timekeeping is managed by independent timekeepers and runners are required to carry a GPS watch or device with at least nine hours battery capacity.
