Indian Creek Trail Runs
The Indian Creek Trail Runs is the 13th annual event held at Indian Creek Campground in Sedalia, Colorado on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The event uses seldom used single track trails through lower and upper montane ecosystems, passing lodgepole pine, aspen groves, tall grasses and red rock formations. The route includes viewpoints with distant city views and occasional glimpses of nearby 14ers.
Distances:
- 50-Mile - time limit 14 hours
- 55k - time limit 14 hours
- 15-Mile - time limit 12 hours
- 5-Mile - time limit 12 hours
The combined runner capacity is 225. Start and finish are at Indian Creek Campground. The event provides aid stations and allows one drop bag per participant at the start/finish area. Camping is available for a fee of $20 per night with limited space and requires a reservation; trailers are not allowed. Parking is limited and vehicles with fewer than two registered runners may be charged a parking fee.
Pacing and crew policies are restricted: 50 mile participants may have one pacer for the final loop, subject to waiver and bib requirements and a headlamp rule; pacers are not allowed for the 55k or 15 mile. Crews have access only at the start/finish aid station and are discouraged except when necessary. The event notes unpredictable mountain weather and issues partial credits only under specific permit and weather conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
