Event overview

The Indian Creek Trail Runs is held at Indian Creek Campground in Sedalia, CO on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Course and terrain

Courses use seldom-used single-track trails on the Front Range, passing through lower and upper montane ecosystems. Elevations described in the course area range from about 5,000 to 8,000 ft, including lodgepole pine and aspen forests, tall grasses, red rock formations, and viewpoints with city and mountain views. Interactive course maps and elevation profiles are provided by the organizer.

Logistics and rules

Camping is available, costs $20 per night, is limited, and requires a reservation; tents and some camper vans and rooftop tents are allowed, no trailers. Parking at the site is limited and restricted to designated areas; crews and spectators are discouraged. The 50-Mile event allows one pacer on the final loop; pacers must sign a waiver, carry a bib, and carry a headlamp. Pacers are not allowed for the 55k or 15-Mile. The 55k and 50-Mile offer mid-race drop down options to shorter distances at designated points; there are no refunds or credits for distance changes.

Support and awards

Aid stations are described as well stocked. All finishers receive a unique finisher's award; awards will not be mailed. The organizer presents additional awards including DFL and Transcendence Awards but does not provide podium or age-group awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
