Event Overview
The Independence Day Race is an annual running event held on July 4th, with the 2026 edition being the 12th year. It takes place at Champoeg State Park in St. Paul, Oregon, a park located along the Willamette River. The event is organized by Runwithpaula Events, Inc.
Distances and Fees
Participants can choose from several race distances:
- Half marathon (13.1 miles) with a registration fee of $79
- 10K with a fee of $65
- 5K with a fee of $49
Virtual options are also available for each distance at a fee of $50.
Course and Post-Race Activities
