Impact Road Race 5K | 10K | 1 Mile - Pelham, AL
The Impact Road Race is scheduled for Saturday October 3, 2026, at Oak Mountain State Park - Dogwood Pavilion in Pelham, Alabama. This is the fourth annual running of the event and it includes timed road races and a fun run.
The event includes these distances:
- 10K timed road race
- 5K timed road race
- 1 Mile Fun Run
All courses are held on road surfaces. The 5K and 10K are USATF-certified and the event serves as an Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race qualifier. USATF certification numbers are 5K - AL25028JE and 10K - AL25027JE.
The races take place on open roads; the course design requires awareness of vehicle traffic and surroundings. Timing is provided for the 5K and 10K.
The race raises funds for Seeds of Impact. The organization’s mission is to equip parents to break generational cycles and foster healthy family relationships through transformative and free parenting education and ongoing support.
Participant amenities and awards noted by the organizer include gift card prizes for the top overall 10K and 5K male and female finishers, race event t-shirts and swag bags for the first 125 people to check in, awards across 14 categories, and finisher medals.
