Event Overview

The Imber Ultra is a multi-terrain run of 33.5 miles. It is organized by the Rotary Club of Westbury and Avon Valley Runners. The event is a charity fundraiser.

Course Details

The run starts in the town of Westbury, at the foot of Salisbury Plain. The route mostly follows the Imber Range Perimeter Path (IRPP). For the 2026 edition, the run will be in a clockwise direction.

Entry and Awards

Entry fees are £36 for affiliated runners and £38 for unattached runners. Awards will be presented to the top three men and women, as well as to age category winners (V40, V50, V60+ for men; V40, V50, V60, V70+ for women). There is also a team award for the first men's and women's teams. All finishers receive a goody bag. The event holds a Trail Running Association (TRA) race license.

The total number of places is 160. Entries are managed via Entry Central. Cash entries on the day are only accepted if spaces remain. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
