Event overview

The Imber Ultra is a multi-terrain trail run of 33 1/2 miles organised by the Rotary Club of Westbury and Avon Valley Runners. The route starts at the foot of Salisbury Plain in the town of Westbury and mostly follows the Imber Range Perimeter Path (IRPP). For 2026 the route will be run in a clockwise direction. The 2026 event is the 12th running and is held as a charity fundraiser. The race has a Trail Running Association race licence, number 7687.

Entry, fees and prizes

Entry is handled through Entry Central; postal entries are not accepted and cash entries on the day are possible only if spaces remain. The published entry fees are £36 for affiliated runners and £38 for unattached runners. Discounted rates apply for members of TRA SA, EA, WA and AMCA until the stated deadline. The organiser pays the Entry Central service fee so entrants do not pay an additional surcharge. Total places are listed as 160. Awards are given to the first three men and women, age-group winners (V40, V50, V60 and V70 categories as stated), first team for men and women, and a goody bag is provided to all finishers.
