The Imber Ultra
The Imber Ultra is an annual multi-terrain trail run of approximately 33.5 miles organised by the Rotary Club of Westbury and Avon Valley Runners. The route starts at the foot of Salisbury Plain in the town of Westbury and mostly follows the Imber Range Perimeter Path. The 2026 edition will be run clockwise and is the 12th running of the event. The event is held as a charity fundraiser.
Entries are accepted via Entry Central; postal entries are not accepted and cash entry on the day is possible only if spaces remain. Entry fees are £36 for affiliated runners and £38 for unattached runners, with discounted rates for members of TRA SA EA WA AMCA until 28 February 2026. The organisers cover the Entry Central service fee so runners pay no surcharge. The race holds a Trail Running Association licence number 7687 and a total capacity of 160 places. Awards are planned for overall and veteran categories for men and women, team prizes, and a goody bag is provided to all finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
