About the race
The Bound for Boston Marathon and Half Marathon takes place on August 22, 2027 at Menomonee Falls High School in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The course uses a 1 mile loop described as flat and suitable for consistent pacing. The full marathon is USATF certified and serves as a Boston qualifying course.
The event offers in-person and virtual options for both distances. Virtual participants may run at a location of their choice and submit their time before the end of race day. Aid is provided on course with water and an electrolyte drink at the aid table, and participants may place personalized aid on the tables for use during the race.
The event is limited in size and capped at 75 participants. All participants receive a race shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are given for both distances in standard five year age groups. A cheer crew option is noted with no entry fee and registration not required for spectators.
