Bound for Boston Marathon & Half Marathon - Atlanta
The Bound for Boston Marathon & Half Marathon - Atlanta is a small, loop-based road event held on Johns Creek Parkway in Johns Creek, Georgia. The course is a one mile flat loop certified by USATF; the full marathon is a Boston qualifier. Chip timing is used for start, finish, and mile splits, with split times displayed on timing clocks along the course.

The event is capped at 175 participants to maintain a focused field. Aid support on course includes water, an electrolyte or gatorade-type drink, and bananas. Participants may place personalized aid on the tables for easy access during laps.
Race services include custom race shirts and finisher medals for all participants. Awards are given by standard five-year age groups and overall categories including masters and grand masters. The course has a four hour time limit. Packet pickup is provided on race morning and an early packet pickup option may be available the day before.
