The Illinois State Fair Parade Run is a two mile event held at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield, Illinois on August 13, 2026. The event offers an in-person race and a virtual option restricted to race day volunteers.

Registration opens May 1 and closes August 4. The registration fee is $32.50. To guarantee a shirt, registration must be completed before July 21 at 11:59 pm US Central.
Race packet pickup is available the day before the event at the Springfield Running Center, 2943 West White Oaks Drive, Springfield, IL, from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. Another person may pick up a packet on a participant's behalf. Attending the Wednesday packet pickup provides a free admission ticket to enter the fairgrounds.
Limited race day packet pickup will be held at the fairgrounds in the Village of Cultures from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Participants using race day packet pickup are responsible for paying admission to enter the fairgrounds.
Virtual participants may run or walk their two miles anywhere and may submit results beginning on race day and for one week afterward. Virtual entrants appear in results but are not eligible for age group awards. Race packets for virtual participants are available for pickup with other packets and are not shipped.
