Iggy's "4 on the Fourth" Freedom Run

Iggy's "4 on the Fourth" Freedom Run takes place on July 4, 2026 in Ocala, Florida. The event starts and finishes at Veterans Memorial Park at 2601 E Fort King St. The course runs through a tree shaded residential neighborhood in southeast Ocala and returns to the park.

The program includes the following distances:

4 miles
1 mile run or walk

Results are posted quickly and an awards presentation follows the races. Awards are given three deep in five year age groups. Parking is available in the Ocala Public Library parking lot adjacent to Veterans Memorial Park. Veterans Memorial Park is located just east of 25th Avenue between E. Silver Springs Boulevard (SR 40) and SE Fort King Street.

A no dogs on course policy is in effect for the races. Well behaved leashed dogs may spectate along the sidelines provided they remain under control and do not enter the race course.
