Icebug Xperience West Coast Trail

Icebug Xperience West Coast Trail is a three-day stage race in the Ramsvik area, Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast. The event covers a total of 77 km over three separate stages and passes cliffs, narrow forest trails, seaside villages and beaches. The terrain includes rocky, technical sections, forest paths and coastal stretches, and the route features local sights such as old stonemasonry and archipelago villages.

The stages and distances are:

• Ramsvik – Smögen, 25 km
• Bohus-Malmön – Kungshamn, 31 km
• Hunnebo – Ramsvik, 22 km

Participants choose one of three starting groups. The Walk group is aimed at those who want a relaxed pace and typically needs about 4–6 hours per stage. The Jog group mixes walking and running and is common for friends, youths and dogs. The Run group is for faster trail runners; the organiser recommends Run for those who can run a 20 km trail in under three hours. Starting groups can be changed during the event. To be ranked among the top 50 runners, all stages must be started in the Run group.

Logistics include daily transfers to and from stages by bus and/or Zita boats. The entry fee includes transfers, lunch at the finish line each day, a foldable cup for energy stations and a wooden medal. The Race Village is located at Ramsvik Stugby & Camping; accommodation options in the area include hostels, camping, tents and sailboats. Event information and race tickets are distributed via the Pace+ app.

A Kids Camp is offered for children aged six and above, with supervised activities such as sailing, fishing and visits to the wildlife park Nordens Ark, and a children's race on the final day. Kids Camp pricing is listed per child with discounts for multiple children. Registration fees vary by date and range from 1 795 SEK to 2 795 SEK across the published booking periods.
