Icebreaker Marathon & Half Marathon GLIRC 2027
The Icebreaker Marathon & Half Marathon GLIRC is scheduled for January 23, 2027, at Eisenhower Park, Field 2, Parking Lot 2, East Meadow, NY 11554. Registration is not yet open.

The event provides long sleeve tech shirts, finisher medals, live/text/email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for runners who register at least three weeks in advance. Results and same-day finish line photos are available online.
Awards include the top three male and female overall finishers and top three male and female masters. Age group recognition is provided online for these groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
Early bib pickup is available at Runners Edge, 242 Main St., Farmingdale, NY. Bib mailing begins the Monday prior to the start day; registrations after that may require 3–5 business days for mailed bibs. Race-day pickup is handled on site by event staff.
Course notes: the marathon includes a six hour cutoff. A virtual participation option is offered; virtual entrants may upload times and photos between January 24 and February 1. Acceptable tracking methods cited include track laps, treadmill, certified USATF courses, and running apps such as MapMyRun or Strava.
