Event overview
The GLIRC Icebreaker is a road running event held on January 24, 2026 at Eisenhower Park - Field 2, Parking Lot 2, East Meadow, NY 11554. Course and logistics
The course is looped, runs on park paths and fully closed roads, and is described as suitable for spectating. Water and nutrition stops are provided along the course. The marathon has a 6-hour cutoff; runners must begin the final lap before the stated cutoff.
Bibs can be personalized if registered three weeks in advance. Amenities listed for participants include a long sleeve tech shirt, a finisher medal, live/text/email results, and free finish line photos. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and the top three masters male and female finishers.
Virtual participation and results
