Icebreaker Marathon & Half Marathon GLIRC 2027
The Icebreaker Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K take place on January 23, 2027 at Eisenhower Park Field 2 in East Meadow, NY. This is the 16th annual running of the event and the course is certified and a Boston qualifier. The course uses park paths and fully closed roads and is designed as a looped course.

The course includes fully stocked water and nutrition stops. On-course items listed include bananas, energy bars and Gatorade. Finish-line refreshments and post-race food are provided, including bagels, muffins, cookies and sparkling water. Participants receive a long sleeve tech shirt and a finisher medal. Personalized bibs are available for those who register at least three weeks before the race.
Awards are given to top overall finishers and age group finishers; plaques are awarded to the top three overall men and women and to top masters categories, and medals are awarded across specified age groups for the Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K. The Marathon has a six hour cutoff.
Virtual participants can upload times and photos during the event window; some virtual entries may not include a bib or swag. Registration fees, tiered pricing and member or veteran discounts are listed by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
