About the race
The Icebreaker Marathon and Half Marathon is scheduled for January 23, 2027, at Eisenhower Park, Field 2, Parking Lot 2 in East Meadow, NY. The event includes in-person race distances and a virtual participation option.

Amenities listed for participants include long sleeve technical shirts, finisher medals, live results available online and by text or email, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for those who register at least three weeks before the event. Results and same-day finish line pictures are provided online.
The marathon uses a timed cutoff of six hours. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and the top three male and female masters finishers. Age group recognition is provided online for the following groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
Registration is not yet open and will open ahead of the listed event date. Bib mailing begins the Monday prior to the start; participants who register after mailing should allow three to five business days to receive their mailed bib. Virtual participants may upload times and photos between January 24 and February 1 and may track distance using laps on a track, a treadmill, mapping apps, certified courses, or fitness trails.
