Ice to Water Trail Run 2026
The sixth annual Ice to Water event is a trail running weekend held July 25-26, 2026 at WI Interstate Park in St. Croix Falls. The main activities start and end at the Skyline Shelter near the Ice Age Center. Packet pick-up and registration occur at the Ice Age Center on the preceding day and at the Skyline Shelter on the race day. Parking is available at the Ice Age Center and a park pass is required.
Distances offered:
- 5K Trail Run: out on the Skyline hiking trail, return on the Skyline winter trail.
- 10K Trail Run: Skyline hiking trail to Silverbrook hiking trail and back.
- Dalles Dash Kids Run: up and back 0.5 mile trail run after the main races.
The Skyline hiking trail climbs past rock-strewn ravines to the forested rim of the valley. The 10K route continues along the Silverbrook hiking trail to a more remote area of the park and provides a view of 18-foot Silverbrook Falls. Awards are presented at the Skyline Shelter. Participants who register after July 18 may still receive a t-shirt but it may not be available on the day of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
