I Can And I Will Run! : Seattle, October 18, 2026
I Can And I Will Run is a community fundraising event held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Green Lake Community Center in Seattle, WA. The event includes in-person races on the park and inner trail and a virtual 5K option for participants who cannot travel to Seattle.
Distances offered:
- 10K (professionally timed)
- 5K (professionally timed)
- Kids 1 Mile (ages 12 and younger, untimed, multiple heats)
- Kids Dash 100 m (ages 12 and younger, untimed, multiple heats)
- Virtual 5K (virtual participation available)
The 10K course uses the inner trail and surrounding park and finishes back at the start area. Kids runs take place near the starting area after other races are completed. Early registrants may receive t-shirts and finisher medals while supplies last; kids may receive shirts and ribbons while supplies last. Virtual registrants who register by September 30 may receive a race t-shirt and additional mailed items.
The event raises funds for the Uncompensated Care Fund at Seattle Children’s Hospital. One hundred percent of race net proceeds will benefit uncompensated care at the hospital. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
