I Can And I Will Run!
This event is a charity run on October 18, 2026, at Green Lake Community Center in Seattle, Washington. The event raises money for the Uncompensated Care Fund at Seattle Children's Hospital. One hundred percent of race net proceeds will benefit uncompensated care.
The event program includes multiple distances:
- 10K course on the inner trail and surrounding park
- 5K, professionally timed
- Kids 1 mile run, untimed, ages 12 and younger
- Kids Dash 100 m, untimed, ages 12 and younger
- Virtual 5K option; register by Sept 30 for mailed t-shirt and swag
The 10K course uses the inner trail and the surrounding park and finishes back at the start location. Kids' runs are held near the starting line after the other races are completed. Participant items include shirts and finisher medals while supplies last; kids may receive shirts and ribbons as noted by the organizer.
