I Can And I Will Run!
This event is a community run in Seattle that raises funds for the Uncompensated Care Fund at Seattle Children's Hospital. One hundred percent of race net proceeds will benefit uncompensated care at the hospital.
The event is centered at Green Lake Community Center and uses the inner trail and surrounding parks for the longer course, with the route finishing back at the start. Kids runs take place near the starting line after the other races are completed.
Distances offered include:
- 10K - professionally timed
- 5K - professionally timed
- 5K - virtual option available
- 1 Mile - kids 12 and younger
- 200 m - kids ages 7 to 12
- 100 m - kids 6 years and younger
Participants registering early will receive event shirts while supplies last, and finishers may receive medals while supplies last. The virtual 5K includes an option for mailed event shirts and swag for those who register by September 30.
