Event overview

The I am Me Jamboree takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in downtown Columbus, Indiana (Fourth Street and Franklin, 47201). The event includes two distance options:

0.5k (approximately 0.3 miles)
5k (approximately 3.1 miles)

Both events are walk/run/roll formats and are held on separate downtown courses.

Accessibility and course rules

The event is described as open to all ages, abilities, and paces. Participants may use assistive devices such as walkers, canes, wheelchairs, crutches, scooters, and other supports. At least two hours are allotted to complete either course, removing a minimum mile pace requirement common to some other races. Recreational vehicles, other motorized devices, and bicycles are not permitted. Strollers and wagons are allowed.

Fees and beneficiaries

Standard registration is listed at $40, with reduced pricing noted for younger age groups ($0 for ages 0-2; $25 for ages 3-17). Proceeds benefit an organization that supports and advocates for individuals with disabilities; a different beneficiary is selected each year. Course maps are published online.
