HYROX Dublin
HYROX returns to the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) in Ballsbridge for an indoor fitness competition held over several days. The event takes place at the Simmonscourt Road venue and follows the standard HYROX format where participants complete a series of functional fitness workouts.
The competition is divided into multiple categories with specific divisions:
- Singles
- Doubles
- Relay
Participants receive an athlete wristband, a venue access wristband, an ankle strap with a timing chip, and a bib number upon check-in. The event provides individual finisher times with split timings for each workout station. Results are posted on a live leaderboard throughout the competition.
The venue features a "Thunderdome" viewing area for spectators to watch the races. Aid stations are located throughout the course to provide support before, during, and after the event. There is also an entertainment zone featuring various partner activations.
Top performers in each age group are recognized during award ceremonies held after all athletes in a division have finished. Certain age group ranks also offer qualification slots for the World Championships. Participants who complete the course receive a finishers patch.
