Event overview

The BYD HYROX Brisbane event takes place 9 April 2026 to 12 April 2026 at the Brisbane Convention Centre, Merivale St, South Brisbane QLD 4101. The competition format combines running and functional workouts: participants complete eight 1 km runs interleaved with eight workout stations. The event includes Open and Pro singles, Doubles and Doubles Pro, relay teams, adaptive divisions, Elite 15 races, and regional championship races scheduled across the four days.

Entry, race services and logistics

Race packages include a HYROX finisher patch, individual finisher time with split timings for each workout, leaderboard results posted during competition, age group award ceremonies in each division, qualification slots for certain Age Groups in selected Pro divisions for the World Championships, and on-course hydration. Sportograf is the official photography partner; photos are available online and can be located via facial recognition about 48 hours after the race. Athlete wristbands grant venue access only on the athlete’s race day; spectator tickets are required for other days. Athlete check-in requires ID and cannot be completed on behalf of another person.

Registration options and ticket policies

Flexible registration add-ons are available at purchase. The LITE FLEX option allows one name change until 7:59 AM (Brisbane local time), one day before race day, with no refunds. The FLEX option allows one name change until 7:59 AM, one day before race day, 100% refund until 7:59 AM, 31 days before race day, and 50% refund until 7:59 AM, 7 days before race day. Refunds exclude Flex and service fees. Tickets without a Flex add-on do not allow changes or refunds.
