About the race
HYROX Brisbane is a fitness race held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre in South Brisbane from 31 March to 5 April 2027. The race format combines running and functional workout stations: participants complete eight runs of 1 km each interspersed with eight workout stations. Competitors can enter solo in HYROX Open or Pro divisions, pair up for HYROX Doubles or Doubles Pro, or form four-person teams for the HYROX relay.
Ticketing options include Flex Lite and Flex Add-On protections. Flex Lite permits name changes up to one day before an athlete’s race; Flex Add-On allows name changes up to one day before race day and offers a 100% refund up to 31 days before race day or a 50% refund up to 7 days before race day. Flex Add-Ons and Service fees are excluded from refunds, and the Flex Add-On cannot be added after purchase. Transfers to other events or division changes are not offered.
Athlete services and on-site features include a finisher patch, individual finisher times with workout split timings, leaderboard results during competition, age group award ceremonies, qualification slots in certain Pro age groups for the World Championships, a hydration station on course, and opportunities to purchase professional photos. Athlete check-in requires ID and cannot be completed on behalf of another person. A race wristband grants venue access only on the racer’s event day; separate spectator tickets are required for other days.
Additional event elements include a Race Crew program with listed benefits, charity ticket fundraising managed via a partner, regional Hyatt travel packages for accommodation, and official photography provided by Sportograf with facial recognition and postrace photo purchase options.
