Event Overview
The BYD HYROX APAC Championships - Brisbane is a regional championship event for athletes from the Asia-Pacific region. It takes place at the Brisbane Convention Centre on April 11-12, 2026.
Race Structure and Divisions
The event features competitions for individuals and teams. The disciplines include Singles (Men and Women), Doubles (Men, Women, and Mixed), and Relay teams (Men, Women, and Mixed). There are also Adaptive divisions (Men and Women). The championships use Open Weights Divisions, meaning participants do not race the Pro weights.
Qualification and Eligibility
This event is open-entry, so no prior qualification is required to compete. It is open to citizens of countries/regions within the designated APAC region only. Temporary visa holders, such as tourists or students, are not eligible. The championships serve as a direct pathway to the HYROX World Championships for the Singles and Doubles Open divisions.
On-Site Experience and Services
The event provides an on-course hydration station. Athletes receive a finisher patch and can watch other competitors throughout the day. Professional photos are available for purchase post-event, and Sportograf is the official photography partner. Individual results with split timings for each workout are posted.
Registration and Logistics
Entry is managed via ticket purchase. Ticket options include Flex Add-Ons, which allow for name changes or refunds under specific timeframes. Athlete check-in requires a valid government-issued ID.
