Hypothermic Half Marathon 2027 - Calgary
The Hypothermic Half Marathon in Calgary takes place at the McKenzie Meadows Golf Club. This winter event provides participants with the opportunity to run or walk through several distance options. The course is situated at 17215 McKenzie Meadows Drive Southeast.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 21.1 km (Half Marathon)
- 10 km
- 5 km
The event is chip-timed, and official results are posted after the completion of the races. For safety and self-sufficiency, the organizers encourage all participants to carry their own hydration and nutrition, though limited self-serve water stations are provided on-site.
All registered participants for the in-person event receive a Hypo souvenir and a finisher's medal. In-person registration also includes brunch, with the option to purchase additional brunch tickets for guests. Those attending in person are eligible for a chance to win running shoes provided by a sponsor. For those unable to attend the physical location, a virtual option is available for the 5 km, 10 km, and 21.1 km distances, though virtual results are not tabulated.
