Hypothermic Half Marathon 2026 - Edmonton 1 takes place on January 25, 2026, at 6603 Ada Boulevard Northwest, Highlands, Edmonton, Alberta T5W 4N5, Canada. The event offers the following distances:

• 5 km
• Virtual Half Marathon (Canadian residents only; US and overseas applicants not accepted)

The event is chip-timed and official results will be posted after the event. The in-person event supports the Y.E.S.S. charity. Sponsors include Running Room and Altra. A virtual participation option is available for those who cannot attend in person.

Registration and race amenities

Brunch is included with in-person registrations; additional brunch tickets can be purchased during registration. All participants receive a Hypo Half blanket, a tote bag, and a finishers medal. In-person participants have the opportunity to win Altra running shoes; two pairs will be available at each location.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own hydration and nutrition because there will be limited self-serve water stations. Registration fees are listed in Canadian dollars and include mandatory charges; taxes and processing fees are displayed at checkout. Current fee tiers are:

• Half Marathon, 10 km, 5 km: Early $93.64, Regular $99.03, Late $104.41
• Virtual Half: Early $76.39, Regular $81.78, Late $87.17
