Hydration Guy High Five
The Hydration Guy High Five is the inaugural five mile running event that starts in Gowanus at the Bakline Flagship store and follows a course through Cobble Hill and Red Hook before returning to the start area. The event is timed; participants may race it, run at tempo, or treat it as a fun run.
Hydration will be provided on the course and at the start and finish. The entry fee is $20.00 and includes timing, post-race hydration and snacks, and a small giveaway. There is an optional $16 add-on for the inaugural race shirt. A portion of each entry will be donated to Fast Feet NYC. Organizers note that a post-race gathering at a nearby brewery is in the works.
This is not a closed-streets race. The route will be marked with directionals and marshals at turns and key intersections. All participants run at their own risk.
