Hyde Park 5k and 10k
Hyde Park 5k and 10k is a running event held at Hyde Park Bandstand in London on 5 June 2027. It offers two distance choices:
- 5 km
- 10 km
Both races follow tarmac paths within Hyde Park on a flat course, with the start and finish alongside the Bandstand. Marshals, distance signs and arrows are placed around the route to guide participants, especially where the distances diverge and rejoin. The 10k route lists an elevation gain of 34 m.
Entry includes a unique themed medal, chip-timed results, free race photos, post-race goodies and a secure bag drop. Water is provided on each lap and at the finish. There is an event village with food, drink and finish-line items from partners. An optional official event t-shirt produced in partnership with RT Kit features the event logo and is available in male and female sizes XS to XXL for an additional fee.
The venue is accessible by public transport; nearby tube stations listed include Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge, Lancaster Gate and Marble Arch. Organisers advise avoiding travel by car because parking is limited. The event welcomes buggy runners and wheelchair athletes and asks participants to be mindful when overtaking.
