Hustle for the Heroes 5K
Hustle for the Heroes is a community 5K walk and run at St. Laurence High School in Burbank, Illinois, on June 21, 2026. The event is described as supporting first responders through fundraising and community participation.
Registration categories include a youth rate for ages 12 and under and an adult rate for ages 13 and over, with tiered adult pricing during the registration period. A donation option is available that includes a race shirt. Awards are given to the first overall male and female finishers and to first place finishers in male and female age groups: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Participants may choose between a Police shirt or a Fire shirt as their event shirt option.
Proceeds benefit First Responder Scholarships that award $1,000 each year at St. Laurence to sons and daughters of active police officers, firefighters, nurses, paramedics, or military members beginning with the Class of 2030. Corporate sponsorship levels are offered at multiple tiers with visibility options such as finish line and mile marker signage, race packet inserts, and race entries.
