Huron 5k Challenge Race Series
The Huron 5k Challenge is a series of six individual 5k races held at different times throughout the year. The series offers a discounted entry fee for participants who register for all six events. A bundle registration for all races costs $100, which is less than registering for each race individually.
Individual race registrations cost $20 online or $25 on the day of the event. A series bundle registration must be completed on the Huron5k.com website. The series and its component races are organized as non-profit entities.
The six races that make up the series are:
- Huron River Run
- Abbey Rose Color Run
- Beulah Beach Run
- Huron PTO Glow Run
- St. Pete’s Spooktacular
- Judi Lively Turkey Dash
Each race supports a different local charitable cause or organization. For example, proceeds may go to school teams, scholarship funds, family support foundations, or educational materials. Awards are offered for series participation; finishing four or five races earns a sweatshirt, while completing all six races earns a sweatshirt and a gift card to a local business.
