Huntsville Slam
The Huntsville Slam is a four-race challenge organized by the Huntsville Track Club in Huntsville, Alabama. Runners must complete four designated club races held between November and January to qualify for the event award.
Required races, in order:
- Dizzy Fifties 50K - November 21, 2026
- Rocket City Marathon - December 13, 2026
- Recover from the Holidays 50K - December 31, 2026
- Mountain Mist 50K - January 23, 2027
Each listed event must be completed within its official time limit. Participants register individually for each of the four required races and also register separately for the Huntsville Slam. Slam registration opens October 1, 2026 and closes December 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST; late entries are not accepted.
Rules include no substitutions or alternate distances, only the four listed races qualify, and Slam registration is non-refundable. If a runner does not finish any required race or fails to register for one of the required races, the runner is not eligible for the finisher award. All finish times are verified after each race to confirm eligibility.
Finisher award details: runners who complete all four races receive a custom embroidered finisher garment such as a jacket or pullover. Awards are available for pickup at the Mountain Mist finish area, inside the lodge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
