Huntington Sprint Triathlon
The Huntington Sprint Triathlon is a USA-Triathlon-sanctioned event located at the Cleveland Metroparks Huntington Reservation in Bay Village, Ohio. The race venue is centralized south of Lake Road near the Huntington Playhouse, which serves as the location for both the transition area and the finish line. Registration is limited to 400 athletes to manage the volume of participants on the course.
The event consists of the following distances:
- 750 Meter Swim: An open water swim held at Huntington Beach on Lake Erie.
- 13.1 Mile Bike: A course through Bay Village and Avon Lake, monitored by police and volunteers.
- 3 Mile Run: A route through the residential neighborhoods of Bay Village.
Participants receive RFID chip timing for their race. The bike course remains open to vehicle traffic during the event. The venue is designed for spectator access and includes a post-race celebration area at the finish.
