Hunger Hero 5K
The Hunger Hero 5K is a 3.1 miles community running event held in Belvidere, New Jersey, on July 18, 2026. The race coincides with Belvidere's 250th Anniversary and the 40th Anniversary of the Belvidere Food Pantry, which was founded in 1986.
Registration is open in a defined window before the event. The standard registration fee is $40.00 and a reduced rate of $19.86 applies to students age 18 and under. No food drive is required for this edition; registration is the method the event uses to support the food pantry.
The event uses an 1980s throwback theme. Prizes will be awarded for Best 80s Individual costume and Best 80s Group costume at the finish line. Age group awards will also be presented.
