Hues for Humanity Fort McMurray 2026
Hues for Humanity Fort McMurray takes place on June 6, 2026 at the Doug Barnes Cabin and along the upper trails of Birchwood Trail in Fort McMurray, Alberta. The event features an approximately 5 km colour run or walk on the upper trails.
The format includes a mass group colour toss before the course, multiple colour stations where volunteers apply colour during the route, and a final group colour toss at the finish. A DJ and an MC provide music and announcements. Prizes are awarded for best costume in individual, family, and team categories, and door prizes are also offered.
Registration options include team, solo, youth for ages 10 to 16, and a free category for children 9 and under. Each paid registration includes a t shirt, colour packets, and a swag bag; child registrations do not include the event package. Walk up registration is available with different fees. Race bag pickup is scheduled before the event, and volunteer roles include assembling race bags, setup tasks, and on day event support.
The event is organized in support of Real Humanitarian. One hundred percent of event proceeds fund Real Humanitarian’s education, health, and empowerment programs, which provide educational, medical, and social emotional support to vulnerable children.
