Hues for Humanity Fort McMurray 2026
Hues for Humanity Fort McMurray is a colourful fun run held on June 6, 2026 at Doug Barnes Cabin Cross Country Ski, Tamarack Way, Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. The event features an approximately 5 km run or walk on the upper trails of Birchwood Trail, starting at the Doug Barnes Cabin.
The format includes a mass group colour toss before the course, multiple colour stations where volunteers shower participants with coloured powder, and a final group colour toss at the finish. A DJ and an MC provide music and announcements. Prizes are awarded for best costume in individual, family, team, and pet categories, and there are additional door prizes. Participants may vote for their favourite colour station.
Registration options and fees listed in Canadian dollars include Team Member CA$50, Solo CA$55, Youth (ages 10–16) CA$40, and Child (9 and under) free. Walk-up registration is available with Solo CA$65 and Team Member CA$50. Each registration includes a t-shirt, colour packets, and a swag bag; child registrations do not include a race package. Race bag pickup takes place before the event day.
The event is organized by and in support of Real Humanitarian. One hundred percent of event proceeds go to Real Humanitarian’s education, health, and empowerment initiatives, which provide educational, medical, and social-emotional support to more than 1,000 children each year. Real Humanitarian is a non-religious, non-political registered Canadian charity (Charitable Registration #87302 9102 RR0001).
