Hues for Humanity Fort McMurray 2026
Hues for Humanity Fort McMurray is a colourful run and walk supporting Real Humanitarian. The event takes place on June 6, 2026, at the Doug Barnes Cabin Cross Country Ski area on Tamarack Way in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
The main event is an approximately 5 km colour run or walk along the upper trails of Birchwood Trail, starting at the Doug Barnes Cabin. The schedule includes a group colour toss at the start, multiple colour stations along the course, and a final group colour toss at the finish. A DJ and an MC provide on-site music and announcements. Prizes are awarded for best costume in individual, family, team, and pet categories, and there are additional door prizes.
Registration offers team, solo, youth (ages 10-16) and child (9 and under) categories. Standard registration includes a t-shirt, colour packets, and a swag bag; child registrations do not include a race package. Race bag pickup is available before the event. Both pre-registration and walk-up registration options are listed with different fees.
One hundred percent of event proceeds go to Real Humanitarian to fund education, health, and empowerment initiatives.
