Hues for Humanity Medicine Hat 2026
Hues for Humanity Medicine Hat is a colourful fun run and walk organized to support Real Humanitarian. The event takes place on the Sierra Coulee walking trails, starting from the Medicine Hat Tourism Centre. It is open to participants who wish to run or walk the following distance:
- 5 km
The event begins with a mass group colour toss before participants head onto the course. Multiple colour stations are positioned along the trail, where volunteers apply coloured powder to those passing through. The experience concludes with a final group colour toss at the finish line.
Entertainment includes a DJ and an MC to maintain high energy throughout the morning. Prizes are awarded for the best costumes in various categories, including individual, family, team, and pets. Participants also have the opportunity to vote for their favourite colour station.
All event proceeds are directed toward Real Humanitarian’s education, health, and empowerment initiatives for at-risk children in developing nations. Registration packages include a t-shirt, colour packets, and a swag bag, though these are not included with registrations for children aged 9 and under.
