Hudson River Waterfront Walkway 10K Race & 2K Run/Walk
This event features a USATF certified, officially timed 10 km race held along the Hudson River Walkway. The course is described as fast and flat and runs with views of the Manhattan skyline. The route starts at the Edgewater Marina Ferry Terminal and finishes at NY Waterway’s Weehawken Ferry Terminal. NY Waterways ferries participants back to Edgewater for award ceremonies and festivities.
A new 2 km run/walk has been added on race day. Free parking is provided at Edgewater’s Veteran's Field. Transit options for participants from Manhattan include the NY Waterways ferry from W. 39th Street, a roughly 15 minute ride, or NJ Transit Bus 158 from the Port Authority Bus Terminal, about a 40 minute ride.
Registration opens May 1 and closes July 31 for the listed events. Fee amounts are $45 for the 10K and $25 for the 2K. Anyone registering after September 17 cannot be guaranteed their T-shirt size.
