HRC Rotary 4th of July 5K Family Fun Run
The event is a chip timed 5K run/walk held on July 4th along the northern portion of the San Francisco Bay Trail. The course runs from Parker Ave in Rodeo to The Exchange in Hercules and back, following the waterfront trail.
Entry is limited to 250 participants. Early bird registration is available at a reduced fee through May 25, with a higher fee thereafter until race day. Children age five and under have free entry. Registration opens May 6.
Race packets, including bib and race shirt, are distributed at a pickup session on July 3 at Cafe Tapioca at the Creekside Center, 1581 Sycamore Avenue, Hercules, and again on the morning of the event at the race location. Participants who register by June 20 are guaranteed the t-shirt size they select; later registrants receive sized shirts at packet pickup on a first come basis.
The event is presented by the Hercules/Rodeo/Crockett Rotary Club and takes place at The Waterfront in Rodeo, CA. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
