Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The Kiwanis Club of Lima presents the eighth annual Howl'oween Trick or Trot on October 25, 2026 in Lima, Ohio. The event includes in-person and virtual race options and a Virtual Pet Contest that benefits local animal welfare agencies.

The 5K awards the top three male and female finishers overall and the top three in each male and female youth age group: 10 and under, 11–14, and 15–19. The 5K notes that all participants will receive a glow in the dark finisher medal. The 1 Mile Fun Run is untimed and open to runners and walkers; the first 200 sign ups for the Fun Run receive a glow in the dark finisher medal. Refreshments are available to those who cross the finish line for the Fun Run.
Entry fees for the 5K list early registration on or before August 31, 2026 at $27, with higher fees listed for later registration and on race day. The Fun Run entry fee is listed as $25. A commemorative race shirt is available; registrations received after the stated shirt cutoff may not include a shirt and limited quantities may be available for purchase on race day.
Race items pick-up locations include Allen County Children's Services and the event location. The Virtual Pet Contest supports the Humane Society of Allen County, Deb's Dogs, and A Lotta Love Pet Rescue, and includes separate entry and shirt fee options.
