Howl-o-ween 5k - Orlando

The event is a Howl-o-ween themed 5k run or walk. It takes place at Harbor Park (Lake Baldwin) in Orlando, Florida. The event supports animal shelters and its charity partner is Florida Giant Dog Rescue.

Participants can run or walk with or without a pet; dogs are welcome and do not need to register. Leashed pets are allowed. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground on the course; children in strollers can participate for free. The course is described as a "super scenic out and back route around Lake Baldwin."

Registration includes a short sleeve t-shirt, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, live race results, and finish line treats for humans and dogs. The event is professionally timed by J3 Timing.

Awards are given for overall male and female finishers, and the top three in standard age groups from 9 and under to 80 and over. Free race photos are offered. Parking is available and carpooling is suggested. A virtual participation option is also available.
