Howl-O-Sprint 5K
The Howl-O-Sprint 5K is a nighttime running event taking place at SeaWorld Orlando. The course leads participants through the theme park under the cover of darkness, passing by various roller coasters and thematic landscapes. This themed race features "scare zones" where costumed characters interact with runners as they navigate the route.
The event contains mature content, including depictions of violence and gore, and is intended for a mature audience. Participants are not permitted to wear costumes during the race. The course is open to both runners and walkers, and jogging strollers are allowed provided they start at the back of the field. For safety reasons, bicycles, pets, and any form of skates are prohibited.

The in-person race is capped at 2,000 participants. Registered runners receive a finishers medal and a commemorative cotton unisex t-shirt. Registration also includes a ticket to the Howl-O-Scream park event, valid for select dates through November 1, 2026, and free event-day parking. A post-race celebration at the finish line offers live entertainment, food, and a themed bar. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers.
