About the race
The SCOTT Houffa Trail is a two-day trail running event around Houffalize in the Ardennes. The 2026 edition counted 2,250 participants and recorded a 98% finish rate. The event is listed on the UTMB index and includes a combined classification called the SCOTT Houffa Trail Challenge, in which runners complete three different trails over the weekend.
Distances are offered in two weekend formats:
- Short format: 4 | 10 | 18 km
- Long format: 4 | 20 | 28 km
Races across the weekend include a 4 km Kamikaze on Saturday morning, a 10 km or 20 km semi-night trail on Saturday evening, and the 18 km or 28 km Houffa Trail on Sunday morning. Each race may be limited in starters; the organiser notes a maximum of 200 starters per series.
The organisers publish practical information, maps and GPX files for each distance. Results from the 2026 edition are available. The next edition is scheduled for 23 and 24 January 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
