Course and logistics
The 5K route begins at the Nederhouser Community Building, follows park trails, crosses Sylvania Avenue into the Farmbrook neighborhood, uses the University Parks trail to McCord Road, then returns to circle Olander Lake and finish at the Nederhouser. The 10K follows the same course with an extended section on the University Parks trail before rejoining the 5K route to finish. Courses are open to traffic. Maps are provided online and at packet pick-up.
Proceeds support youth programs focused on healthy lifestyle choices and prevention of at-risk behaviors. Packet pick-up is scheduled at Dave's Running Shop in Sylvania and at the Nederhouser in Olander Park, with limited race-day pick-up for those who live more than 30 minutes away. After February 4 there is no shirt guarantee and early bird pricing ends. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
