The Wheaton Hot Cider Hustle is a chip-timed community run held at Danada Forest Preserve on October 25, 2026. The course uses crushed limestone trails and is described as flat and fast. The event offers both chip-timed and fun run categories.

All finishers receive a 2026 finisher mug. Participants may choose between a classic t-shirt or an upgraded premium thin-tec 1/4 zip. Finish line provisions include hot apple cider and caramel apples. A 5K or 8 mile finisher medal is available as an add-on.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall for both distances. Age groups run from 10 and under up to 70 plus. The course time limits are listed separately for each distance.
Logistics include packet pick-up options before the event and at the site on race morning, with a fee applied if participant gear must be mailed after the event. On-site parking at the start and finish area is limited; off-site parking with shuttle service is provided from designated lots.
