Wheaton Hot Cider Hustle - Wheaton, IL (October 25, 2026)
The Wheaton Hot Cider Hustle is a community running event held at the Danada Forest Preserve on October 25, 2026. The course runs on crushed limestone trails through Danada Woods and is described as flat and fast. The event offers two distance options and chip timing for participants.

Finish-line provisions include hot apple cider, caramel apples, and a finisher mug provided to every participant. A finisher medal for the 5K and 8 Mile is available as an add-on. Participants may choose event gear: a classic t-shirt or upgrade to a premium thin-tec 1/4 zip.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in age groups for both distances. Age categories start at 10 & under and continue in typical five-year bands through 70+. The run is part of the Run Chicagoland series; completing three qualifying series races yields a series finisher recognition.
On-site parking near the start and finish is limited; off-site parking with shuttle service is provided from designated locations in Lisle. Water stations on course provide water and a gear check is available at the event site. The run takes place rain, snow, or shine, with delays possible for severe weather.
