The Wheaton Hot Cider Hustle offers chip timed and fun run categories on a crushed limestone trail through Danada Forest Preserve. The event includes both in-person and virtual options and presents two distance choices.

Event gear and finish line goods are specified for 2026: every participant receives a finisher mug, and runners may choose a classic t-shirt or upgrade to a premium thin-tec 1/4 zip. Hot apple cider and caramel apples are available at the finish line. A 5K or 8 mile finisher medal is available as an add-on.
Packet pickup options include mailed delivery, a pre-event pickup at Dick Pond Athletics in Lisle, IL, or pickup at the event site on race morning. Mailed packets incur a fee per participant. Virtual participants receive mailed gear that typically arrives one to four days before race day.
Parking near the start and finish is limited at the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County location in Naperville, IL. Off-site parking with shuttle service is provided from two Lisle locations when on-site parking is full.
Awards include winner medals for the top three male and female finishers overall and in age group divisions for both the 5K and 8 mile.
