Wheaton Hot Cider Hustle
The Wheaton Hot Cider Hustle is a fall road and trail event held in Wheaton, Illinois on October 25, 2026. The course runs through Danada Forest Preserve on crushed limestone trails and is described as flat and fast. The event offers chip timing and both competitive and fun run categories.

All finishers receive a 2026 finisher mug. Participants may choose between a classic t-shirt or an upgraded thin-tec 1/4 zip. Hot apple cider and caramel apples are provided at the finish line. A 5K and 8 mile finisher medal is available as an add-on.
Logistics include on-site parking at the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County and off-site parking with shuttle service from two locations in Lisle. Packet pick-up details are posted before race day and morning packet pick-up is available with possible wait times. Gear check is available on site and clear bags are required.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall and in each age group, with age categories starting at 10 and under and extending to 70 plus. The event is part of the Run Chicagoland Race Series; completing three qualifying races produces a series finisher with connecting medals.
