The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Seattle takes place at Seattle Center on February 28, 2027. The event offers multiple race distances and a managed course that starts and finishes at Seattle Center near Climate Pledge Arena and the Space Needle.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K race distance
- 10K race distance
- 15K race distance
The course passes Seattle Center attractions such as the International Fountain and nearby cultural sites including the Museum of Pop Culture and the Pacific Northwest Ballet. The event includes professional timing and free high resolution photos delivered to participants after they cross the finish line. Live runner tracking is available for participants and their spectators.
Every registration includes a race kit with a full zip fleece and a finisher's medal. The post race party features a finisher mug served with chocolate fondue, hot chocolate, dippables, music and vendors. A paid VIP option called the Ghirardelli Cocoa Club offers an upgraded experience with a canvas tote of single serve cocoa, a $35 hot chocolate store credit, VIP preferred corral placement, access to a dedicated club area, and an upgraded onsite experience that may include a hot breakfast item, heaters, dedicated restrooms and extra dippables.
Expo packet pick up is scheduled for February 27, 2027 at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. Packet mailing is available for a fee and the deadline to add mailing to a registration is February 7, 2027 at 11:59 PM.
