Hot Chocolate Run - Seattle
The Hot Chocolate Run in Seattle is scheduled for March 1, 2026. This event features three distinct distances for participants to choose from:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
The course begins and ends at the Seattle Center, located at 305 Harrison St. Participants run past several local landmarks, including the Space Needle, the "Artists at Play" Playground, the International Fountain, and the Museum of Pop Culture. The routes are professionally managed and timed, with digital results and high-resolution photos provided to all participants after they cross the finish line.
Every registered participant receives a runner's kit that includes a full-zip jacket and a commemorative finisher's medal. A pre-race expo is held on February 28, 2026, at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall for packet pickup. There is no packet pickup available on the day of the race, though participants may opt to have their materials mailed for an additional fee if arranged in advance.
The event concludes with a post-race celebration. This gathering features music, various vendors, and a finisher's mug containing hot chocolate and chocolate fondue with dippable treats. Participants can also choose to upgrade to the Cocoa Club for access to a private lounge, a hot breakfast item, and dedicated restrooms. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in the overall categories and across multiple age groups for each distance.
