About the race
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Seattle takes place on February 28, 2027, with start and finish at Seattle Center near Climate Pledge Arena. The event offers multiple distance options and a themed post-race party with chocolate-based refreshments.

The course passes Seattle landmarks including the Space Needle, International Fountain, Seattle Center, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Museum of Pop Culture, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The event uses professional course management and chip timing. Free high-resolution race photos and live runner tracking are available to participants after the race.
All registrants receive a swag kit that includes a full-zip fleece and a finisher medal. The post-race offering includes a finisher mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate. Overall and age-group awards are given for the 5K, 10K, and 15K; overall top-three finishers receive cash prizes and complimentary registration for the following year, and age-group top-three finishers receive discounted registration offers and patches.
A Hot Chocolate Expo and packet pick-up is scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2027, from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall, 301 Mercer Street.
