Event Overview
The Seattle SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run will take place on March 1, 2026, at the Seattle Center. The event offers three race distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a 15K. The start and finish area is at the Seattle Center, near the Climate Pledge Arena and the Space Needle. The course passes local attractions such as the "Artists at Play" playground, the International Fountain, the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Museum of Pop Culture, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Participant Perks
Registration includes an exclusive full-zip jacket and a commemorative finisher's medal. At the finish line, participants receive a finisher's mug filled with chocolate fondue, dippable snacks, and hot chocolate. A post-race party features music and vendors.
Additional Options
Participants can upgrade to the Ghirardelli Cocoa Club, which provides an exclusive shopping bag with Ghirardelli cocoa, a $35 store credit, VIP corral placement, access to a private area with amenities, and an upgraded post-race experience with a hot breakfast item and extra treats. Packet mailing is available for an additional fee.
Logistics
A pre-race expo for packet pickup is scheduled for February 28, 2026, at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. There is no race day packet pickup. The event is professionally timed, and free high-resolution race photos will be emailed to participants. Results and photos will also be available online.
