San Diego SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in San Diego is scheduled for March 7, 2027, with Petco Park serving as the event site. The event offers multiple timed distance options and a post-race party at Petco Park featuring music, vendors, photo opportunities, and a finisher's mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate.

Course highlights include sections that pass landmarks such as Balboa Park (on the 10K and 15K), Golden Hill Park and neighborhood (on the 10K and 15K), the East Village neighborhood (all events), the Fig Tree Garden, and a "Hi, Hello, Hola" mural. Race kits include a full-zip fleece jacket, a commemorative finisher's medal, and a race bib. Free high-resolution photos and official race times are emailed to participants after they finish. Packet pick-up takes place at the Hot Chocolate Expo on March 6, 2027; the expo is free and open to the public. Packet mailing is offered for a fee and has a registration deadline of February 14, 2027.
A Ghirardelli Cocoa Club upgrade is available with benefits such as a canvas tote with cocoa, a $35 store credit, VIP corral placement, access to a dedicated cocoa area, and upgraded onsite amenities. Overall awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance with cash prizes and other prize items, and age group awards are offered across multiple age categories.
