SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run San Diego
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run takes place on March 7, 2027, centered around the Petco Park area in San Diego. This event combines athletics with a chocolate-themed celebration, offering participants several distances to choose from on professionally managed and timed courses.
The event features three distinct distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 15 km
The courses navigate through various San Diego landmarks. Participants in the 10 km and 15 km distances pass through Balboa Park and the Golden Hill neighborhood. All three race distances, including the 5 km, travel through the East Village neighborhood. The start and finish area is located at the Petco Park Tailgate Lots.
Registered participants receive a runner's kit that includes a full-zip jacket and a commemorative finisher's medal. After completing the course, runners have access to a post-race party at Petco Park. This celebration includes music, photo opportunities, and a finisher's mug filled with hot chocolate, chocolate fondue, and various dippables.
A pre-race expo is held at the San Diego Convention Center on the day of the event for packet pickup and merchandise. There is no race day packet pickup available at the start line.
