Denver SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run : Washington Park
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Denver takes place at Washington Park on October 3, 2027. The event offers timed running options and a managed course through park landscapes and nearby areas.
Participants can choose from these distances:

- 10K
- 15K
Course highlights include Grasmere Lake, Smith Lake, and views of the nearby mountains. The 5K and 10K routes pass two lakes inside Washington Park, while the 15K runs parallel to Cherry Creek. An interactive course map and PDF map are provided for course details.
Race kits include a full-zip fleece and a finisher’s medal. Races are professionally timed and free high-resolution photos and finish times are emailed to participants. Live runner tracking and text updates are available for those who enroll in tracking.
A post-race party is held at Washington Park with music, vendors, and a finisher’s mug filled with chocolate fondue and hot chocolate. The event also features an expo and packet pick-up at the National Western Complex on the day before the race, where race kits and merchandise are distributed.
Ghirardelli Cocoa Club is an optional upgrade that provides a canvas tote with single-serve cocoa, store credit, VIP corral placement, access to a dedicated Cocoa Club area, a hot breakfast item, heaters if needed, and upgraded post-race treats.
