Event information
The Hospice of the Valleys Chase the Christmas Pudding Festive Family Fun Run takes place on 30 November 2025 at Parc Bryn Bach, Merthyr Road, Tredegar, NP22 3AY. The event is also offered as a virtual option. It is organised by Hospice of The Valleys. Entry categories and fees listed for the event are: Adult, Family (up to two adults plus three children), and Child (ages 3-17). Entries close on 23 November 2025. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult over 18.
Format and extras
Participants complete two laps of the scenic lake on the event course. Virtual participants may complete a 5 km run in their own community or local gym and submit their time. Everyone who enters receives a Santa hat; children receive additional festive treats. Dogs are welcome and receive a bandanna and a finisher treat. A prize is awarded to the person who catches the event’s Christmas pudding, plus the role of Christmas Pudding runner for 2026. The event includes a visit from Santa.
