Chase the Christmas Pudding Festive Family Fun Run
The Chase the Christmas Pudding Festive Family Fun Run is a fundraising event for Hospice of the Valleys on Sunday 29 November 2026 at Parc Bryn Bach, Tredegar NP22 3AY, with a virtual participation option.
Participants complete two laps of the scenic lake, recorded as a 5 km course for virtual entries. The event accepts running, jogging, dancing, skipping or walking. Dress in festive costume if preferred; there is a prize for best fancy dress. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. The event is family friendly and wheelchair accessible; push prams are permitted. All children under 12 must be accompanied around the course by a paying adult.
Facilities on site include changing rooms, parking and a Visitors Centre offering hot and cold refreshments. There will be Christmas music and a raffle. Every entrant receives a Santa hat; adults receive a hot chocolate sachet and snack, children receive festive treats plus a hot chocolate sachet and snack, and dogs receive a bandanna and a finishers treat. Santa will attend to start the run and spend time at the venue.
Virtual participants must submit evidence of their 5 km time by Monday 30 November 2026; the fastest virtual time receives a prize. Participants who raise £50 or more are entered into a Christmas Hamper Prize Draw. Sponsorship must be received by the Hospice by 14 December to qualify.
