Chase the Christmas Pudding Festive Family Fun Run
Chase the Christmas Pudding is a charity fun run organised by Hospice of the Valleys on 29 November 2026 at Parc Bryn Bach, Tredegar, with a virtual participation option. The on-site route consists of two laps around the scenic lake; virtual participants record a 5 km time.
Participants may run, jog, dance, skip or walk while following a giant Christmas pudding. Costumes are encouraged and a prize will be awarded for the best fancy dress. The event is family friendly, wheelchair accessible and suitable for push prams. Well behaved dogs on leads may take part.
Facilities at the venue include Christmas music, a raffle, hot and cold refreshments served in the Visitors Centre, changing facilities and parking. All entrants receive a Santa hat. Adults receive a hot chocolate sachet and snack; children receive festive treats, a hot chocolate sachet and snack; dogs receive a bandanna and a finishers treat. Santa will attend to start the fun run and spend time at the event.
Entry fees are listed for adults, children and families onsite, with a separate fee for dogs. Children under 12 must be accompanied on the course by a paying adult. Participants who raise £50 or more and have sponsorship received by the Hospice by 14 December are entered into a Christmas hamper prize draw.
