The Hoppin Hodges Rails to Trails 5K is scheduled for Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Andover, CT (580 Lake Rd, 06232). Entry is offered online with an entry fee of $22.20 (includes a $2.20 processing fee). The entry fee increases after March 20, 2026. Registration and race number pick-up take place at the Ben Franklin parking lot on Lake Road. Race numbers must be pinned clearly to the front of the jersey. The event does not offer awards.
Course and purpose
This is an in-person 5K on the Hop River Trail. The course is described as flat and wide, with the start and finish located on the Hop River Trail at the Ben Franklin site in Andover. The race is held in memory of an individual and proceeds will benefit preservation and maintenance of the Hop River Trail through the Town of Andover Parks Department.
